I love seeing people get strawberry floated up by the animals they are antagonising.

Woke up after a really weird night. Was woken back up at half 12 by my shower randomly starting to drip water (it's happened once before too somehow o_O) and then got woken up again at 5AM by my cat, then again at 6AM by my cat again.

Feel like total gooseberry fool.

The trick is to keep your cat out of the bedroom. We shut ours in the kitchen with a thick blanket over the counter for them to sit/sleep on.

Or kill the cat.

I have one room, not that I'd ever want to shut her out of my bedroom anyway. She always sleeps on my bed next to me.

I've made the mistake of feeding her when I get up for dayshift. So 6am. So now she wakes us up around then on days off. Luckily she's adorable as strawberry float licking my eyebrows till I get up.

Cat's generally gotten better at being noisy for food over night - every so often makes sounds of distress when caught short and needs to go out.

And then comes for massive cuddles. Why would you ever not want cats in the bedroom...

No he won't.

He used to pee in the corner when distressed - but his poo spot is by the front door. He's not had an issue for nearly a year.

Oh wait other than when the poor thing was poorly and had diarrhea down the stairs.

Blocked sinuses have to be the worst. My nose goes between leaking everywhere and being blocked which is fine, but it feels like someone is clamping the front of my head.

Sneezing momentarily helps the problem, but after a few seconds it's back again.

Local cinema is showing Prometheus and Alien: Director's Cut today.

The former is meh, but Alien is my all-time favourite movie and I've never seen it on the big screen. And buying a ticket for this includes an advance screening of Alien: Covenant in a couple of weeks.

BUT! My girlfriend won't like it, nobody else is available, and I've never been to the movies alone in my life. I don't think it's that big a deal to fly solo, but my girlfriend does, and she'll insist on coming along.

I don't want her there, though. Her hatred of the material will ruin my evening.

What do.

Insist that you see it alone. Nowt wrong with hitting the cinema by yourself.

Go by yourself, you're going to watch a film and enjoy it, not going to sit next to someone who doesn't like it.

There's nothing wrong with going to the cinema alone.
