The cats usually have quiet areas where they can go for privacy. The cats that are out and about are socialising because they want to, and there's rules so people (children) don't terrorise them.

The one in Nottingham is great, and you can adopt certain cats there, too :wub:

Some of them have health issues or other problems that mean they're not really suitable as proper pets but they have a nice place to live and a whole load of attention should they want it.
