That's why they do all the comedy stuff, so you'll forget about the poor, needy, starving children who need your money right now.

Went to the bike shop and Im thinking about a Norco with Shimano disk brakes, Deore gears and Rockshox front. £620 with medium frame and 27.5" wheels.

Seems like a nice bike, only one there for a reasonable price that had all of the 'name brands' rather than just one or two. I think its a bit cheaper because its a 2017 and the rest were 2018 but doesnt really bother me.

Do I need to be considering any other gear? Helmet and gloves I know.

Yeah lights a must, a decent light waterproof coat or window breaker thing is good for this time of year to take the edge off the wind and stuff.

Defo get a helmet try and get one with Mips.

Norco bikes are good and the Shimano/Rockshox components will be not bad for the price.

I had an order coming from Curry's that I paid to have delivered today, it hasn't turned up because DPD said they couldn't find the address. Is there any issue with me cancelling the order through my credit card provider?

Why would you not just cancel it through Currys?

Not sure how something like a baseball bat is going to help him when riding a bike mate.

Extra protection that helps your head move on impact. Helmets with MIPS can be had from about £70

I've tried twice but been left on hold for 40 minutes (both times) and had to give up.

I'm watching the Louis Theroux documentaries on Netflix. Just started on the American Nazis one.

Holy crap this is some good watching. Do these people exist? Is this the real life?

Is that one where he asks a skin head what would he do if he (Louis) said he was Jewish?
