All pale in comparison to the mighty Bernard Matthews Turkey Twizzler/Dinosaurs.

This is what Brexit is all about, getting back to proper British food.

I guess I was lucky to have parents that knew where to draw the line when it came to cheap dinners - I never had the horrible mechanically-recovered meat shapes that the lower classes would gorge themselves on. Anonymous cheese gloop was totally fine though.

It'll turn out that crispy pancakes was a typo and he actually meant Christmas pudding.

I love various types of BBQ sauce. Brown sauce is also good.

I would suggest trying the Red's True BBQ Sauces they now sell in sainsburys.

I was raised on these types of foods. Fries to go are literally the worst thing ever conceived by man. Utterly manky, cardboard flavoured chips.

My diet isn't much better these days. But I know what dross to stay clear of.

Fries to Go were what you had if you were too povvo to afford proper Micro Chips :datass:

God, I remember Fries To Go. Each chip had its own compartment. There was also micro chicken nuggets from McCain's. Terrible, all of it.

Rustlers Meatball Marinara sub was another one, or at least their equivalent of one. Innedible.

I don't mind Naansters, but I haven't seen them around in months.

Brown sauce is gooseberry fool too, in the rare event that something calls for a sauce, such as a bacon sandwich, why on earth would you have anything over tomato ketchup? Let alone Brown sauce :dread:

I'm with AD7 on this no sauce supremacy thing, the one exception being ketchup to go with french fries, or maybe sweet and sour sauce for Chicken nuggets.

Crispy Pancakes really were strawberry floating disgusting, one of my friends at school practically lived on them and literally every time I went to his house that's what he'd have for tea.

The only 'povvo' foods my brother and I were occasionally allowed as kids were Mini kievs, Pasta n sauce and those hideous frozen mouse things you used to see in Iceland and Farmfoods.

My sister never went through the wanting to eat gooseberry fool food phase because by the time she was at school age both my brother and myself were teenagers and no longer ate that sort of thing

Mum always used to overcook mini Kievs so all the fillinghad come out and dried on the tray :fp:

To be fair I tried to cook them myself once and the window between them being raw and ejecting their contents all ove the inside of the oven was mere seconds.
