Yeah family friend of the girlfriend has a vineyard so i say making wine, mainly doing the peasant work of getting grapes then being rewarded with grape juice and wine.

Next door's was up for sale along with the house and wine cellar for roughly £14k, something to bear in mind if anyone has cash to burn and fancies become a full blown alcoholic. Can generally grab about 500 to 700 litres a year of white and red wine from it.

That sounds really tempting.

I did a bit of grape picking in Spain once, but they trained the vines into a canopy, and I had to stoop to get under it, so my back was wrecked afterwards. Then I hit the wine, and the rest of me was wrecked.

Yep, no idea what state the house is in and actually I'm not certain of their vineyard size either but if anyone is genuinely interested i could probably put in the effort to find out.
