Really annoying. I've just missed out on an ideal job to an internal candidate. Fair enough, cant blame them if they want to recruit from with in. But my recruitment agent knows the internal candidate is looking for a move but is going to take the promotion in the short term until he finds something. Really frustrating-don't blame the guy at all, I'd do the same, but the company don't realise they're going to likely be looking again in a few months time.

Did you actually have an interview? If so, very in touch, under the guide of wanting some feedback, and just stress that you were really interested, and would appreciate if they could keep your information if anything similar should come up in the future.

Yep, I had two and they gave feedback through my recruiter who said he'd come back to me if they do go to market again.

Aren't you the newbie?

We're being bought at the moment.

I think we're not getting a Christmas party as old owners won't be arsed to begin sorting one, and new owners won't be able to until too late :(

Yeah I'm new but I'm the senior creative so I'm involved in the theme and that.

Really like Timehop for Facebook. Reminds of the gooseberry fool I post.

One from 8 years ago. Sept 2009. I'd just got my separation money off my exit so had paid my debts off and was left with approx 3 grand.

It was ' Is 250 too much to spend on earphones?'

Lewis, MCN and Dougie all giving me gooseberry fool for it.

You strawberry floating bastard. I'd booked a trip to Berlin prior to their announcement and am now missing two National gigs, two LCD Soundsystem shows and an Old Firm :slol:

It's going to be amazing. Wish I could see LCD too, listening to call the police now great song

I demand a detailed report on the gig when you get back from it.

It was pretty strawberry floating special. Like thats something I'm chalking off a bucket list now. Absolutely incredible
