See if someone sends me a message on eBay and asks what I'd sell my item for, can I give them a price or will I get chucked off eBay? There's no buy it now option on my auction.

Clearly I don't sell much.

Sat in the sunshine having a Stella Artois Raspberry Cidre. Bit early in the afternoon but strawberry float it, it's already been a long week.

You can give them a price and end the auction if you choose to.

You are only contractually obliged to sell at the end of the auction. Even then wtf are they gonna do?

You can do that. To sell it though you'll need to edit the listing and include (or simply replace it) with a buy it now option. Don't be selling anything outside the realms of eBay & PayPal, otherwise you'll be strawberry floated if anything goes wrong.

No intention of doing anything like that, but cheers for the advice. I'll contact the potential purchaser now.

Talking of flouncey ciders, anyone know if Smirnoff Raspberry And Pomegranate, Mandarin And Pink Grapefruit, and Rosie's Pig Flat Tyre Rhubarb Ciders are any good?

(And yes I'm well aware they're basically alcoholic cordials)

Add some dried cranberries into the white chocolate and it gets better.

They also seem to have the worst problems for noise leaking, every time I can hear someone's music it's from in-ear headphones.

Over ear headphones are superior in every way.

this post is so wrong: over-ear is almost always going to have worse leaking than in-ear, especially from open-backed.
if you can hear someone's in-ear they're either actually buds (and gooseberry fool ones at that) or the person is almost deaf

This.

As far as i'm concerned it's a investment. They're a significant improvement on the ones I have - made by the same company and review as excellent across the board. I wouldn't know where to start at buying custom moulded ones so would be reluctant to splurge as much. Ive been promising myself a pair for two years.

My daughter will see it differently though.

A few months back I had a letter sent to my home address for someone I don't know. It was a work pension letter and I rang up the company and they said they get it sorted out. About a month ago I had another letter and, again, they said they'd get it resolved. I got another letter and the company said sorry but the guy had now left their employment. Today I had a letter from government welfare for the person, about benefit that he had been claiming.

It seems that I've got some strawberry floater quoting my address for employment and benefit purposes. I dunno if this is gonna appear on tax records and stuff like that?

Fake edit: Yeah, someone is taking over my life  .
