Our IT helpdesk do stupid things like that. I once needed a password reset to be able to log in and the lady on the phone said “I have emailed you your new password”.

So the water coming from my kitchen tap looked like this earlier today:



I called the building manager, and they said it must be a city issue as they hadn't done anything, but the water from my bathroom looked fine. Anyways I called the city and they said they didn't do anything either, but if there had been construction near by it might have agitated some pipes enough to get some sediment/rust mixed in with the water. It eventually cleared up but now I'm a bit apprehensive about using this water as no one really had a good answer.
