On a lighter note. Sennheiser have brought out an upgraded version of my earphones.

They’re 870 quid.

I'm with them. Yes let's do referral baby.

Schweet, send us a link over and I'll use that :)

I'm also due a switch as Scottish Power's new offer was crap. Bulb looks interesting so if anyone wants to hit me up with a referral then that would be great. Don't need to switch for a couple of weeks so I can wait.

Grcade energy scam is go :datass:

Just realised though that it's a variable tariff which is putting me off a bit.

It is, but their prices have only gone down in the last year I belive because they are 100% renewable so as that becomes more used it is becoming cheaper and they are passing that on the their peeps.

Good point. I'll do some more research.

I think everyone's just looking for a free day off, tbh. But I might head home at lunchtime today. As a... precautionary measure. Yes.

Horrible banana splits, if you want to put yourself at risk that's your own business but these worthless pieces of gooseberry fool are ignoring the most severe weather warnings Ireland has seen in fifty years, possibly ever, and willfully endangering the lives of the coastguards who are put at risk helping these gobshites.

Should be chemically neutered at the very least. Or made to fight a cranky gorilla seeing as they are such adrenaline junkies.

The skies over Mancunia are pure silver and the light is weirdly portentous.

Weather here is extremely strange too. It's gone extremely dark with a strong yellow tinge to everything - just like an instagram filter. It doesn't show up in the slightest in photos either. It's incredibly ominous and atmospheric.

I bought a lovely little Bose speaker at the weekend, from an approved UK Bose dealer (Fenwick in Newcastle).

It came with this plug. Is this normal? I can't understand why it doesn't have a standard UK plug. I have tweeted Bose and got nothing back (yet). I really CBA to have to go into town again to query it in the shop.

Image

(NB: it charges off a normal usb socket, so I can still use it, but the supplied Bose one is really neat and quite smart looking.)

This is what I got, mainly for kitchen/garden use. It's great. £180.

Would appear they're selling European stock. Whether that's normal for Bose products is another matter. It would cut down on costs not having to create/ship a product exclusively for the UK market. Only products that I've ever bought that perpetually come with a two-prong plug is toothbrushes and electric shavers for the 5 people that have such a socket in their bathroom.

British Gas engineer is round to service my boiler and has commented that it looks like the 1970's outside because of the weather.
