Seeing other people stood there watching it after us was great, so proud

The museum's moved now, hasn't it? It used to be at Arborfield, but the whole base there is closed now.

Off to a retirement do tonight. 37 years in the NHS. Given the number of people there and years spent nursing. I'd say the combined total is somewhere north of 1500 years.

Got the bus to station as it looks like it was going to rain. Not a sodding drop happened.... Could have had a pint after work instead ... Hurrumph.

Another air show crash! This time someone wiped out a Eurofighter at a show in Italy :fp: How does this keep happening? Are pilots just not aware of where they should be flying, or what?

Will be interesting to see what the investigation finds, wonder if it was another case of just looping far too low like the Hunter was :dread:

Just the pilot, as it was a show over the sea. Pretty lucky in that regard.

All the footage of it is terrible mobile video, too, with super-misleading youtube thumbnails :dread:

I'll never forget watching a video on liveleak of an airshow crash in the Ukraine (I think), bodies and bits of people strewn all over the shop, proper grim :(

Don't tend to go on that site anymore.

Two week post op assessment.

Cast off. Such a wonderful relief.
Placed on a bionic arm brace. Yay!
Said that I'd done very well to keep the wound dry and clean and it's healing well (though my tattoo is mangled).
The surgeon said my response to the ROM test was excellent and id done very well.

Warning contains wound images!
