I didn't realise the new £10 note was already out. I remember a massive fuss in the media over the new fiver but haven't seen/heard a thing about the tenner, it's just turned up.

I don't actually know it. Presume it's similar to Tinder?

The one I've got is some daft £2k jobbie, I forget what it's called but I'll look next time I'm in the loft. It was originally my uncle's and he was a millionaire so had loads of stuff like that.

Die Hard is the ultimate Christmas movie. But if I turn up as John McClane at this party, I've got a funny feeling no one will get the joke.

If they do I'll be a genius. If they don't I broom them. Win win. :shifty:

That's a funny way of spelling Muppet's Christmas Carol.

Don't be silly. Die Hard isn't a Christmas Movie, just a movie set at Christmas.

It's the classic Christmas tale of unwanted guests (the terrorists), family tensions (John and Holly), a Christmas grinch (Hans), a Christmas fairy (Powell), the redemption of a fallen man (John), consumerism (that Asian terrorist risking his tactical awareness to grab a chocolate bar, Ellis bragging about Rolex).

It's got it all

That's actually a remarkably good argument.

I mean considering it, it's the biggest pile of bollox I've ever seen, but if you don't think about it - it sounds really plausible. Do you work in marketing?

If not you probably should.
