The first payment is usually a sort of "catch up" payment that covers the part of a month you have the service, the second will be the fee for the next month as you pay in advance for Sky.

I don't believe I was ever told that. I've paid £210 in fees in the last six weeks for a service that's meant to cost me £65 a month plus £40 installation - there's definitely a discrepancy there IMO.

I'm on the phone putting my complaint handler skills to good use now.

Why did you wait outside the bus and berate him? He was probably quiet because he thought you were going to punch him.

Because his behaviour was appalling and I was not happy about. I was well within my rights to speak to him about it. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional.

Well yes, but what about the bus driver's behaviour?

Yep. Depends exactly what went down but if he was really being an absolute arsehole then a bit of berating might set him straight for the future.

I dunno, I'm not saying it was wrong per se, but I would have just gone straight to the manager, can't see the point of sticking around to argue. It's possible I'm just a very meek person to be fair.

Denster wrote:So, I caught the bus into town before. The bus pulls into the station and stops at a point where all the passengers know to get off. I'm sat at the back and ive got a couple of large carrier bags. As i get halfway down the aisle the driver closes the doors and sets off again. Only to pull over another 60 yards further on at a point where drivers park up and leave their vehicles. I say "excuse me mate - can you let me off?"

He then proceeds to berate me at quite a high volume and states why are you still on? You should have got off with everyone else and so on. Stating that he needs the toilet and I'm holding him up.
I apologised for the inconvenience and asked him to let me off. He refused to let me off there (as it wasn't a recognised stop - despite having let people out at traffic lights previously) and proceeds to carry on haranguing me in a verbally aggressive fashion whilst driving all the way round the station back to the original alighting point.

I again apologised for the inconvenience but also pointed out that his behaviour and attitude was very discourteous, rude and unprofessional and that i did not appreciate being spoken to in that fashion as paying customer. He just waved me away dismissively.

So i get off the bus - put my bags down and stand just in front of the doors. As he saw i wasn't leaving his arse clearly started to twitch. I told him i was unimpressed with his attitude and behaviour and that i felt his whole display was appalling.

He said nothing and then i said " Yeah, not so talkative now are you when you're not sat behind glass? I'd be keeping quiet as well if i were you!"

I then went and reported it to the station manager. Incredibly rude banana split!

It's probably just different personality traits, I would want to express my displeasure but probably wouldn't bother ever talking to a manager as I wouldn't be bothered/snitches be bitches so might want a word. Wouldn't want to give off the impression I was spoiling for a fight though since street fights are generally strawberry floating horrible.

What a strawberry floating moron I am, accidentally been using an old draft of one of my PhD chapters for months and chopped off 1500 perfectly good words for no reason.
