Exactly, so if the world was round and spinning like the liars at NASA say then your helicopter would be travelling at 1000mph WITHOUT MOVING.

Round Earth theory is ridiculous.

Um...don't your need to measure rotation in something other than a linear distance? I mean you know it's (roughly :P) 360 degrees in 24 hours.

Because that would be the speed at (I'm guessing) the equator - but 1 mile from the north pole would be a lot less distance traveled, although rotational speed is the same.

That means if I face the direction the earth is spinning and have a wank, I'll jizz at over 1000mph :datass:

Yeah but it'll still be only after about 4 seconds of action.

If you were standing at the centre of the North Pole, your helicopter ride could be replaced by simply jumping up in the air for 0.4214 seconds.

:o . At that speed it may fly around the globe and hit you in the back  .

We are actually moving at around about 1.3 million miles per hour. :datass:

So the lump has suddenly disappeared, and the paediatrician that we saw wasn’t involved before so doesn’t have anything but another doctor’s notes to go on. Bit of a mystery, they went over her blood tests again and they were fine (slight inflammation indicator but nothing out of the ordinary range). We’ve annoyingly got to go back again for an ultrasound at some point next week and then maybe even another appointment after that. Frustrating but at least it doesn’t appear to be anything sinister, they literally just don’t know what it was/is, maybe a fatty deposit that melted away or some fluid that then drained, or a muscle tear (with no pain? Can that happen?)

Weird.

It must be a huge relief, though, Preezy - it's good that you had things checked out and it's great that nothing is amiss :toot: .

Normal person at work “I won £25 on the lottery last night”
Crazy new lady “Well, I once won £5,500 when it first started, I remember it well because I didn’t ever check the results and so was told by the shop that I had to go to the Post Office with it and when I got there they told me it would be 10 days until I get a cheque, I was confused because why pay by a cheque instead of cash? Anyway so I went back 10 days later and they gave me a cheque for £5,500! I was so confused as I had no idea how much I had won as I never checked how much it was!”.

Mainly the typing, I think. Also, you seem to have your gooseberry fool much more together then me life wise, which my brain decides to deluded it's self into automatically assuming is mainly possible by people much older than me unless proven otherwise as self defence.

I’m the same. I refuse to believe that any other 28-35 year olds have sorted their gooseberry fool out and own property, are married or have children when I still live in my own filth. :slol:
