Couldn’t even get an interview for a job co-ordinating the classes I’ve taught for three years, at my home institution, with the hiring manager being my PhD’s second supervisor. I’m not getting out of this call centre anytime soon am I.

It's pretty sweet and creamy. Not sure it's better than anything else...or needs to exist.

I went and bought some wasp spray yesterday but - incredibly! - the blu-tac is holding. The wasps haven't got through it to the nest and I'm hoping (praying) that this unusual approach could prove to be a success .

Yeah in all seriousness trapped wasps probably wont just sit there, they are likely munching through whatever they can.

I was feeling better about the situation until you guys brought up facts. My mental well-being is now dependent upon one little bit of blu-tac holding .

I read an article recently that went into detail on the ingredients of blu-tac. When insects eat it or are coated in it, they get stronger and have more stamina. It’s basically steroids for wasps. Jawa is unwittingly breeding a colony of super wasps that will eventually burst through his walls and kill everyone in a 10 mile radius.

Ten miles could be a step too far but, if it were ten feet, my neighbours may just be caught in the carnage .
