This has to be the biggest downside of having children. My Dad was ill on and off for years when my little sister was younger. I lived with him for 2 years and in that time I got a really violent stomach bug (had me vomiting for the first time in 10 years) and a really really high fever as well as constant colds.

Having kids around is the biggest downside of having kids.
