Any recommendations for drinks around Soho?

London is a fantastic place to visit. I'm not sure I could deal with living there though. Very expensive, very crowded.

Experimental Cocktail bar China town (its a pain to find if you don't where it is) and Eve Cocktail bar Covent garden both pricey but very nice cocktails if you're into that can also vouch for the Craft beer co as Errkal suggested. Oddly done these a couple of saturdays ago.

Easter not mentioned on the boxes.

All the eggs are halal.

And now we have to say “crem”.

It’s an outrage.

Crazy new woman at work was talking about tattoos and just pulled her top up (at the back, no boobies on show) to show everyone a MASSIVE tattoo of Baron Samedi (the skeleton looking man from Live and Let Die) all over her back. “It’s unique because I designed it myself and Live and Let Die has a person meaning for me”. :fp:

I need some bleach for my eyes. :dread:

Was sat behind a Network Rail van this morning on the M25. 'Stuck in a nightmare? Escape. Take the train' emblazoned on the back. :slol:
Hmm yes, that less convenient, less comfortable, less reliable, more expensive, more time-consuming option is appealing.
Wonder if they could keep a straight face when they came up with that one.

2 weeks ago I got on a train from Leeds to London King's Cross, which should have taken about 2.5 hours.

The train was 45 minutes late leaving, then broke down 100 yards outside the station where it sat for nearly 2 full hours. A rescue train was then called for which took another 40 minutes to arrive and then another 40 minutes to connect to our train. Did the rescue train push us back the 100 yards to the station? Of course not! It towed us at half-speed to sunny (rainy) Doncaster where it then terminated, and we had to wait for another 30 minutes before an empty replacement train arrived to continue our journey. This then ran slowly and ended up being a further 30 minutes behind schedule.

In total, including getting from London to my house, the journey took EIGHT AND HALF strawberry floating HOURS.

In an attempt to elevenerife your story, I once got caught for about ten hours on a three hour trip from Fort William to Glasgow Queen Street when a tree fell on the line. They tried to reverse it back up to the nearest stop - Crianlarich - but another tree fell on the line behind us and we had to wait for them to remove it and get buses to the station before we could leave. I was due home at 2pm and got home just before midnight
