Brown onion?! Da Fug?

I've seen white, yellow, red and green. Never heard of a brown one, are you just not washing them

I have to select 'brown onion' on the self-service machine in Tesco, therefore it's brown.

Yeah technically a "normal" online although white inside is a brown onion because it is brown on the outside.

Because they're in a skin. You peel the skin off and chop the onion.

What makes me laugh is that Laga doesn't like onions.

But even he can't be naive enough to realise that onions are in everything in a restaurant.
Sauces, marinades.. etc.. just generally in everything.

Onions, butter and garlic. You'd be hard pressed to find anything without two of the three in it.
It's like the fire triangle of cooking.

Laga's mum picks the onion out of every meal for him.

It's the texture of onions I hate. Most stuff will have onion powder in as a favouring but not actual chunks of onion. It's the chunks of onion I can't stand, just biting into one in another food makes me want to retch.

Pretty much this for me. I can't deal with Peppers either. The texture is what really puts me off.

Though I can handle Onions and Peppers being in things if either:

A) I don't notice they're there (So basically they've been chopped or blended so small that they essentially vanish)
B) They don't overtake the flavour of the dish. My Girlfriend made soup recently, it was blended, so nice and smooth, but for me there was a bit too much Onion in it.
C) They're big enough that I can just avoid them.

It's weird because I'm generally not a fussy eater. I'll eat (Or at least try) anything at least once.

Uncle Ben's cooking sauces. 90% onion.

Seriously though, just chuck the onions in a food processor if you want it ultra fine.

I am exactly the same. I don’t mind onion flavoured things or if things have onion in, as long as I don’t get chunks of nasty onion.

The only exception is onion rings, for some reason I quite like eating those but that’s probably because anything deep fried tastes good.
