Talking of doughnuts, 90% of supermarket ones are absolutely awful, I don't know how anyone eats them. Frozen, shipped over from Germany, and then defrosted. Dry as a bone.

Thankfully Tesco and Morrisons have woken up to the fact their doughnuts are a load of arseholes and started stocking Krispy Kreme.

Greggs do some of the best Jam doughnuts :datass:

Custard doughnuts can just strawberry float right off though no matter who makes them.

Custard doughnuts are lovely. Sainsbury's used to do some really nice chocolate doughnuts but stopped making them a few years ago and the ones they replaced them with are terrible.

Doughnuts are rank. Pancakes, too.

Krispy Kreme had a limited edition mint doughnut a while back, and I stupidly bought one. It was like someone spread toothpaste onto a slice of Hovis.
