Dat headline repetition

Managed to burn my hand while cooking dinner last night. I had put a frying pan in the oven but took it out just fine, dished up the dinner and went to move the pan, forgetting it was still screaming hot and grabbed the handle. Managed to burn my palm and 4 fingers, my thumb was the only bit to escape unscathed. Thankfully I was able to soak it for a while and I wrapped it up with cooling gel while I slept so I have a useable hand this morning, I can see its going to take a long time to heal though.

Ouch. Done that a couple of times when making spanish omelette. I now put the pan straight into cold water after serving as I always forget and pick the pan up by it's searing hot handle.

Any good blisters?

Not yet but the top of my pinky and ring fingers look like they might blister yet. The skin will almost certinaly peel away pretty soon so I have that to look forward to.

There doesn't seem an obvious place to put this but it definitely needs to go somewhere. :shock:
