What were you doing until 4:30? I tend to find the times I stay up to late are usually because of my phone as I'll get sucked in to watching or reading something, or having the urge to comment on gooseberry fool online. I'm definitely thinking of getting one of those apps that basically kicks you off your phone at a certain time of night...

I drop into this thread every so often to read it, but normally don't have anything to add.

However, this time I do.

I went to see Earth Wind and Fire this week with my partner, and during the intro to our favourite track, I proposed!



She said yes! I'm going to get married!

I was going to bed a bit before 2AM, a huge improvement for me. I do basically the same thing as you except on my PC rather than phone. I always end up feeling horrible the next day, sleepy, tired, no motivation to do work etc. At least tonight I'm going to go to bed soon so hopefully I won't feel like garbage tomorrow.

Congrats! Now it's time for the horrors joy of wedding planning. My advice is to either do it far away so only very close family end up coming, or find a restaurant that doesn't charge you to rent a space and base everything else on their seating capacity.

Off to my brothers stag do today which I really don't want to go to.

What the hell are those books? I can't tell if they're worse than dinosaur erotica, but you can't deny the man isn't creative in his fantasies.

Wedding planning is certainly an interesting activity that you now have to look forward to. Have you got a date for when you want to get married?

My main advice would be to make sure you don't have an engagement that is either too long or too short. If it's too long then the planning becomes harder to prioritise as you think you've got ages to do everything and it also allows more time for you to keep changing your minds about how you want to do things (or for other "helpful" family members to stick their oar in and try to change things! ), but on the other hand if you go to short then it can feel like you're constantly trying to nail everything down at the last minute and that ramps the stress up as well!

We only had about 4 months between engagement and our wedding day and it was a little bit hectic to sort out. Amazing and exciting times, but busy!

3 Years, thank you so very much!

We were just very keen to get married, the wife wanted a winter wedding and we got engaged in August so it was a quick turn around.

Also as she's older than me by half a year and she wanted us to be the same age on the marriage certificate so there was only a short-ish window when that would be the case!

Humble Bundle are selling them so I assume they're real.

You can find all sorts of weird things under erotica in ebook stores. Fact of the matter is, they probably do sell, just from how unique they are.

Can you indeed? And how much time would you say you have spent browsing the erotica section of your favourite ebook store?

All the time. It's a favourite hobby of mine to see what weird new delights have appeared.

Seriously though, I haven't done it myself, but there was a time when lists that dealt with such things kept appearing on my Facebook feed from the likes of WhatCulture and similar sites. I only ever found out through those, and to have erotica based on dinosaurs is such a weird concept that it proves to be funny whenever you bring it up to see the reactions of people.

I'm imagining that some people may have certain interests that involved the dinosaurs tails? And where those tails might possibly be inserted perhaps?

But are their balls haunted by Bigfoot pirates?
