Wind is mental in Glasgow. Nearly got done in by a strawberry float off tree branch falling on the way to the train. Which isn’t running so I’m gunna be late to work having to take the bus.

Yup, can confirm.

Just had to cross the bridge over the motorway at Charing Cross to get my lunch at Tesco and there were people holding onto the railings trying to stop themselves being blown into traffic. Terrifying stuff.

I look forward to my cycle home. Between the wind, horse gooseberry fool and wet leaves, I think death has me covered.

I expect work to be jumping. The boxy ambulances don’t like wind.

I’m at the Queen Elizabeth tomorrow  Hopefully the building is still standing when I get there.

I heard more than a couple of sirens in the 10 minutes or so I was out in it as well.

Inside where it's nice and warm just now though so I'm happy enough. Just hope my trains are alright going home. :|

Was meant to be seeing Dylan Moran in Cheltenham tonight but it's been cancelled as the stormy weather has prevented him travelling down from Edinburgh. :(

I hope I can make it to the rescheduled show, but the date hasn't been confirmed yet.

Trying to make a health insurance claim through my providers website, the thing keeps crashing right after I fill out the form and I have to re-fill it. This has already happened like 4 times. :x

That was wishful thinking to the extreme - I had to go and pick my GF up from her office on St Vincent Street because Queen Street basically shat itself(as did central apparently). Took me over two hours to get in and out from where we live, a return journey that can be done in 25 minutes. :dread:

You’d hope a brand new hospital could survive a bit of wind, but then again this is the same hospital where they apparently couldn’t use the helipad for months after it opened because it wasn’t well enough supported. :fp:

Don’t forget the windows falling out last year. Dunno what going on with the front entrance but there’s scaffolding up. I’m not too hopeful.

That's what happens when your primary building material is empty cans of special brew.
