The strawberry float is this?

I won't have a word said against the epicness of a Jammie Dodger.

Jammie dodgers are gooseberry fool.

Can't stand jam, so Jammy Dodgers are auto gooseberry fool. And the biscuit is poop too.

And people say my opinions can be bad :dread:

I was genuinely about to post “and we all have a go at Laga for his terrible opinions”

I think I'm in the majority on Jammy Dodgergate.

Thing is the Jam in Jammy Dodgers is gooseberry fool. Proper Jam is alright though.

I seem to remember Rome being a lot smaller than you would expect, you can walk around loads of tourists sites in a surprisingly short period of time (unlike somewhere like London).

Also there was a really nice restaurant near Piazza Navona called La Focaccio. Not too pricey for central Rome.

Jam is ok, raspberry in particular. But marmalade, god tier food.

Been here a few hours now and my god, the people are so rude  also not had this many warnings about pick pocketing since I was in Barcelona.

Anyway, I can literally see the Colosseum some 50 metres away from my room and I am looking forward to the coffee in the morning :datass:.

Really excited to head to Vatican City, even though I despise Catholicism.

Do we have a thread about the Climate change ?

Anyone else cutting out meat?

I want to do my part but I went to Co Op today and there were about 20 reduced Ham and mustard sandwiches, I ended up spending about a quid extra on some shitey goats cheese vegetarian thing . Surely this change needs to come from higher up. It's scary and unfortunately feels like a battle that's already lost. Of course we've all known about the circumstances for years and nothing has been done to try and fix it. Can an individual do anything? Probably not. Can thousands of individuals changing their habbit's do anything? Probably not. The only way things will change is by huge corporations and governments completely changing their ethos and focus.

I don't think we do, feel free to make one.

I have reduced it a bit, we get veggie burgers and stuff and do at least one day a week as a veggie day, it's not really made any difference to satisfaction of dinner and Tesco do some really good veggie bits, bloody love their cauliflower cheese grills !

Especially, if you go up to the (outside of the) dome.

I would also suggest, though, lowering any expectations you may have about the Sistine Chapel.

I’m also trying to cut back and make up in other ways. I’m certainly no vegan and refuse to give up my roast, but I hardly ever get a plastic bag at the supermarket and have a stash of cute bento boxes and Tupperware for taking leftover to work. We’re getting better at no wasting food and most of our cleaning products are now creulty free/eco friendly.

Search sandy's posts in the travel thread, sure he posted some great tips for Rome in the past, think he might've lived there.

On the topic of meat I've tried to cut down a little and go more free range, feel really guilty eating shite meat now. Plus free range chicken is so much nicer to cook with.

Meanwhile, in Tesco...

"We're going a bit upmarket tonight...we're having Rustlers Gourmet Burgers"
"Ooooooh, wow. Fancy."
"You having chips with it?"
"Nah, we 'ave baked beans and smilies"
"What you having?"
"Cock-in-van and some potatoes"
