Well I survived the super typhoon unscathed, but my mates took some pretty hectic damage. Lost roofs etc.

Just been on the phone to Virgin Media because of their upcoming price rises.

Currently paying £57.99/month for 350Mbps Internet and Basic weekend phone package, so after the price rise would be something like £61-62/month.

Have now switched over to a Business package that gives me 350Mbps Internet, Unlimited UK Calls anytime, 48 hour fix time in the event of any faults and will cost me £50.40/month (Including VAT). So getting more for less.
Only downside is a 7Mbps upload speed and a 24-month contract, but I can easily live with those.

Whilst I'd love to have internet anywhere near that speed I'm not sure I'd be prepared to pay that much for it!

I just lay down my own fibre optic cable, and install the junction boxes myself, I wouldn't want to be disturbing them for every little thing.
