Overheard my South African neighbour complaining this morning that due to the ‘stupid laws’ in the UK he can’t work 7 days a week like he wants to.

I imagine Gabe's ongoing twattery had something to do with it too. The Dickwolves saga hit them pretty badly, and Gabe has continued to make transphobic, and often homophobic, statements since.

I didn't realise until pretty recently that they sold the PAX conferences too. Odd decision that, as it was the only thing that was keeping them relevent.

EDIT: lolwat they had a Kickstarter? There was an nterview with them back in 2010ish where Tycho claimed he was able to buy a Mercedes upfront with cash.

Perry Bible, xkcd (occasionally) and Oglaf continue to be good. Haven't checked Nedroid in ages (Beartato) but that was also quite funny.

Such a shame Hark! A vagrant! stopped updating, but thankfully it's mainly because Kate Beaton has gone onto better things. If anyone deserved it, it was her.

Definitely. PHDcomics is great if you're doing a Ph.D., but presumably just baffling otherwise.

I have a bit of a soft spot for SMBC even though it can be a bit wordy and up itself a lot of the time. It's like XKCD but with actual drawings.
