And then suddenly, BAM! I hit 21, summer rolls around and I'm practically on the floor because of bloody pollen!

same - went to Italy one year in my early 20s, crazy hayfever, thought it was just Italy - nope :x now i get it every year for about 3 months

Blame the Italians - usually a safe option!

Despite it being annoying I do still find it fascinating how the body can suddenly start/stop having a reaction to something - what is it that changes exactly and why?

Too much sugar.

We don't know exactly why some adults suddenly develop hayfever. It could be a side-effect of how your immune system constantly evolves to combat new threats, or it could be to do with how certain genes are expressed more or less at different stages in your life. Moving to an area with different pollens or higher pollution might also be a trigger.

Like everything bad it's all the EU's fault. One we leave the EU nobody in the UK will have hayfever anymore.

Maybe it's because you'll be doing a lot of clenching after that Papa John's has made its way through your system? :slol:

No doubt they'll try to use a new hire or work experience person as an escape goat.

Also I'd have to say my favourite thirst clencher would have to be larger (as in the drink larger).

Actually I moved out of the countryside and into the city and I don’t suffer so badly now. If I go into the countryside though it comes back with a vengeance.

Pfft... I've never had any kind of allergy. Genetic superiority ftw.

Although I ruined my eyes by being on the computer too much :fp:

Of course you don’t get hayfever, you live in a frozen wasteland.

That moment when you get back from a holiday, turn on your phone for the first time in 2 weeks and don't have a single message on any of your various apps, no text, no voicemails, no emails, nothing
