Kind of what I was thinking. I mean, Im confident I can do the gig if they give me like a couple of months to warm up - but if they want someone to hit the ground running, Im not their cat.

Im leaning at the moment toward just doing the interview and all that and seeing if I get a good vibe from the place and then making my decision.

I think this counts as a "Quick! To GRcade!" moment.
The delivery driver of Amazon decided to be a wimp and not even knock on the door to deliver a package. Nope. Straight in the black bin with it. If there hadn't been someone watching out for it, that might have been interesting.

I was reading something the other day where people were trying to justify this as "oh but the drivers are under so much pressure to get through the deliveries they have to do this!" I'm sure there is something in that and I agree that the conditions for the drivers are probably fairly gooseberry fool, but whenever I see them they don't exactly seem to be in much of a hurry - sauntering along, generally seeming fairly chilled out etc.

The bin thing is strawberry floating ridiculous, I've had them shove stuff in my bin on several occasions and it just makes no sense. If my bin is outside its because it is being collected, don't put my important post in there! :x

Yeah, I don't get it either. The person watching went outside and called him out on it. He came back to then get it out of the bin to hand it over. If you were so rushed in the first place, you had to go to the door to put the note you wrote through the letterbox saying where you had put it. So why not just knock and hand it over?

Just had 2 Apache gunships fly over our office building really low.

Guess we're at war now? ¯\(°_o)/¯

We used to get this a lot at a place I worked and I never really understood why as I don't think we were near any relevant military locations.

Perhaps the military have finally had enough with the way things are going and are taking matters into their own hands?

A military junta would be a nice change of pace.

We need a damn good war so that Nick Ferrari can continue to look up schoolgirls skirts.

Did you watch the match last night? England played pretty well for 90 minutes but the Colombia goal really took the wind out of their sails. A nervy period of extra time before (finally!) a penalty shootout win.

Sweden next, not an easy game but on paper England ought to be able to progress and anything can happen once you reach the semis!

It's not coming home yet, but it might. It just might.
