He forgot the bit were they filmed themselves taking off from the moon...yet were still able to get the footage...that bit was fake clearly...who knows about the rest, but it seems dubious to me (at best)

They planned something that fooled the entire world but forgot that they couldn’t film themselves taking off?

If only there was a way to film something like that and somehow transmit it back to Earth....

So they broadcast the filming back to earth? Wouldn't that take some serious kit to do that, in 1969? That Lunar module hardly had enough space for the astronauts, it seems.

Look, I've got my doubts over the moon landings, and I know that most of the lighting effects and camera effects have been debunked, but for me they were never the reasons why I think it was dubious. The lunar module is the main one for me...I mean just look at it

You think they could land on the moon but they couldn't transmit a brief video over a radio link?

What's wrong with the lunar module? Surely it would actually be more suspicious if it looked really cool, like it would if they had designed it for a movie? The reason it looks weird is that it was designed purely for functionality. There isn't a single compartment which isn't necessary for getting astronauts to and from the moon's surface. Check it out, the truth is way more interesting than a conspiracy:

EDIT: The top answer here on this Space StackExchange question explains the actual process of video transmission. I didn't know exactly how they did it before now either -- turns out the main kind of rocket bit (the command module) acted as a relay for the lunar module, and the transmissions were picked up by various tracking stations all over the world (depending on where the moon was relative to the Earth's rotation), and they even had to use a custom video format because of technological limitations -- that's pretty cool and interesting, and a much more satisfying explanation than "oh it was faked" surely.

Few beers tonight with friends and then I'm off to London in the morning.
Got best seats in the house for Carmen at the Royal Opera House tomorrow night.

Going to be glorious.
