Oh Christ yeah :dread:

I remember someone turning up for PE with a donnay tennis bag. Pretty sure his entire family had to leave the country after that due to the shame.

I don't recall any shoe or clothing brand ever being even mentioned at any point in my school life tbh. I'm pretty sure at primary school I had hush puppies? Never wore trainers, always black leather school shoes, same for secondary. At primary school we wore pumps for PE too so it was only PE/sports at secondary where shoe brand was probably noticeable.

Footwear was probably the least of anyone's concerns in the mysterious forest to be fair

My kid plays a fair amount of fortnite with his friends and he's been aware from the start that cosmetics are pointless. Pretty certain he's only ever sunk enough money in as v-bucks to buy his first battle pass and since then has earned enough each season/chapter/whatever to get the next. I think he's probably spent less than £20 and must have racked up 300+ hours.

I had to google plimsolls, yeah they look like gooseberry fool.

On f2p, is no one here playing Warzone? I'm still on that once or twice a week, is great with mates. Can't see why you'd spend any money on it though.

I'd love to see the breakdown of demographics in terms of who actually is spending money on these F2P games. Epic make an absolutely insane amount of money from Fortnite transactions, it can't all be kids

My mother went round to see her parents today and my grandad was lying on the floor on the verge of being in a diabetic coma while my grandmother was sat a foot away ignoring him and watching Tenable. At best that's just neglect, at worst she was trying to murder him. :dread:

What the holy hell? Hope your mother gave her a stern word after helping your grandad. That's just wrong.

Yeah going mental sounds like an entirely appropriate response!

If that happened to me I would immediately assume my grandmother was mentally unwell. Has she been checked over?

I don't know how my grandma is still going. She hasn't had a clue where she is or who anyone else is for years now :( dementia scares the strawberry float out of me.
