Huh. I never would have put those things together.

He added: ‘He came to a party a few weeks ago and he took some paracetamol beforehand. He used to take drugs all the time.’

It really is. And the amount of irrelevant crap that they dig out...

"And His Facebook profile picture shows him wearing one of the website's T-shirts, which would have been ordered from the United States."

America? Aren't they involved in a war on terror or something? There must be a connection.

It's also incredible that they still managed to shoehorn in how much the house his father lives in is worth!

It almost gets a Daily Mail perfect score. Does it mention benefits?

It doesn't, but I think it ticks almost every other box.

It mentions he got a haircut and that the victim's daughter is a ballerina.

I can't tell which is more irrelevant.

I'll raise you the father's "Happy Birthday Balloons" and a "Basset Hound" that the killer used to take for walks.

By the way, this case is tragic so no disrespect to the victims family is meant.

The Daily Mail, however, deserve a shoeing again.

It's not a drug, it's a drink.

It's the Daily Mail. It's perfectly believable they could be that offensive.

Daily Fail wrote:Classmates told yesterday how the middle-class teenager, who loved heavy metal music, felt he was an ‘outcast’.
They said he had previously threatened to commit suicide after complaining of bullying and had experimented with drugs.
Neighbours added that he would not make eye contact with them or acknowledge their greetings as he walked past.

So what we're gathering from this is that he was a teenage boy, and generally acted as such.

Gee, I wonder if that's anything to do with the fact that every time they try to blame computer games there's just a massive surge of people pointing out how ridiculous an idea it is.

So, ignoring the usual Daily Mail nonsense about, well, everything. If other forms of media/entertainment/literature can influence children (and adults) then sure gaming can too? You must see that?

They can but it's always pinned to gaming more than everything else. It's like gooseberry fool this kid played video games! that must be the reason! Nothing to do with the kids probably nuts and would have done it regardless!
