Still surprised how lovely and wonderful the Vita version looks even after trying the PS4 version

How is the newer content spread out? Is it mostly new stuff added to old areas or are there totally new stages too?

Most of the areas from the Vita version have been altered due to the different control schemes so even the parts you remember will feel fresh. There are some completely new areas in between the original sections as well (well, at least i did not recall seeing them in the vita version)

I just so happened to have a gander at your trophy list through the community thingy, and guess what? There's nothing for Tearaway Unfolded :fp: not a whiff of it or you actually owning it.

Whilst gamerforever hasn't even played it, I have finished it this evening. The pacing suffers towards the end of the game, where I'm assuming they've tacked some extra levels on, but what an outstanding game this is. The graphics, the music, the message of the game, this Media Molecule ethos of just begging gamers to create, play, and share your own stories using their tools.

This is on sale for £12/€15 in the Easter sale on PSN. Can't actually remember the prices now that I've bought it and you can't check afterwards  :fp:

Bought it. Probably the cheapest I'll ever see it.

Just started this today - it's really great! After struggling to play Killzone yesterday putting this on was like putting on a pair of old slippers. Certainly a lot of creativity with the Dual Shock, and I'm only about 2 hours in.

I played a bit yesterday - it's pretty decent and makes good use of the Dual Shock 4 controller. Will try to get into it more over the next week before Dark Souls 3 hits!

Coming to the end of this now.

You know how you can give the scarecrow a custom roar?

(Only fans of The Wire will get this)

I have actually been playing this and it is one of those titles that makes full use of the controller. So far its pretty good and i look forward to enjoying this little gem in between yakuza 5 and dark souls 3. Pretty glad uncharted 4 got delayed tbh!

Finished this just now. A wonderful and joyous experience overall and probably on par with the excellent Vita version. I was surprised with how different it actually is for a so-called port. I'd say at least half of the game is completely new and it's a good few hours longer than the Vita version as well. Even if you've played the original you should pick this up. The use of the Dualshock 4 is brilliant and the PS camera is even put to good use, though less so than on the Vita for obvious reasons. That whole 'you in the sun' aspect of it is played down massively which is understandable given the platform but the other stuff it attempts makes up for it. The ending was so sweet and touching, just like the Vita game, but in a different way. It's also maybe the most beautiful game Ive ever played.

I will say this though, the camera is frequently strawberry floating APPALLING. Super Mario Sunshine levels of bad. It would be an almost perfect game otherwise.

BUY IT!

Yes, a few times I tried to do impossible things simply because I wasn't clear where I was supposed to be going. :x
