My god, this is one of the retro collections I was wishing for, just hoping it’s coming to Switch as well but damn I hope the extra historical content is substantial with advertisements and stuff

2 Turtles games in 2022

This is out on everything including Xbox and Switch btw.

I have most of these on my Retro hand held I think. I’ve a gooseberry fool ton of TMNT games anyway… I’ll fire em up tomorrow to see if they are any use.

Sounds like this will have a great selection of extras included design docs from the original releases! Also, Japanese versions included as well, this is sounding like it’s going to be a perfect collection of the 8/16 bit TMNT

I always wanted to play Tournament Fighters but never got round to it - finally!

(I forgot it existed until about 5 minutes ago)

Given how good the other Konami collections have been I'll probably get this.

I got it for my Birthday one year on the SNES I am a huge fan of it, I wish it had got an improved sequel. I reviewed it (as well as Turtles in time) for my SNES series.

I have some of these games physically, snes tournament fighters, snes turtles in time, the first NES turtles but I still want this as there is a lot I don't have and it will be fun to play them all on one system.

The third Game Boy game is one of the best Turtle games. It's a bit Metroid.

Isn’t the Japanese version of Fighters an improved version? It had balance changes and a few extra features or was that a different version?

The Super NES version of Tournament Fighters was released in Japan with the name Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Warriors. There are differences in the Japanese one some of character portraits are redone and some of the audio is rerecorded basically different voices and some clearer samples, You can pick the player two colour for fighters by pressing start, a few of the characters special moves have been tweaked, there is a breakable wall which expands a stage and the girl whose name I cant remember has her buttocks exposed and a different win pose that shows some boob jiggle, its not exactly like a turbo edition or anything but its neat to see. My version is my childhood Pal copy but I have played the Jap one, Oh and yes Orange the NES one is blooming horrid.

Sorry it took me ages to reply I was watching the Book of Boba Fett

I hope this launches before the new Dotemu game, would like to go through these in release order and see the improvements and changes as the games go along.

I hope we see more of these Konami collections in the future, one with all the Tiny Toons games and Animaniacs would be great! Also a Simpson collection with the Konami and Acclaim games would be cool.
