I don't remember such outrage when Lost Planet and Bioshock went to PS3 or Dead Rising to Wii, it must be a trait of Sony fanboys

I love these guys!

The same sort of pathetic brand junkie's as put 8-) after every comment regarding whatever they currently think is "teh greatest" game every (because it's on a Playstation) - .

Sony have attracted some sad people, they really have. No other brand seems to manage it. Thatmay be it.. the others are purely bought for the console.. these are bought for the brand by a proportion of their customers. A different animal all together I suspect.

There is a difference - the 360 games you mention were out months before the ps3/ wii versions.

In respect of Tekken 6 though I could not give a strawberry float as I would not have got it anyway.

Sony is beginning to really bolster their first party line-up with franchises such as Resistance, Motorstorm, LittleBigPlanet and Uncharted.

I think far too many of these so called big franchises have turned out to be crap anyway this gen and we need new games and new ideas, not by numbers crap sequels.

Only 2 of those new ones have been truly outstanding but you're right. they have some good first party stuff. will it sell te console like those third party games did though?

In my view no one game did it, just sheer volume of top class games that you could only get on Playstation. PS3 just doesn't have that and i'm not sure even KZ2 is enought to return it to those days of dominance, however great it might or might not be.

Oh and you're also right about new ideas. The likes of LBP and Viva Pinata have been some of the freshest and best things this gen.

FAMOUSE

I presume this is some sort of new animal that, until now, hadn't been discovered.

I will never forgive From Software for their betrayal when they ported Enchanted Arms to PS3 :x

      O my god, how did I know consolegaming would be in here?

He beat me to it, I know he's upset over this and won't be buying the game just because Namco betrayed Sony.....

I love fanboy attrition. It's hilarious.

Edit: I'm pretty sure Tekken has a big following. This is a blow to Sony. I'm glad Sony are doing something about their first party releases though. It means they can take the blame wholly for a gooseberry fool game. Microsoft are relying a bit too much on third parties, I'd be happier if both consoles bolstered their first party games fully so they both had their own identities. Until Killzone 2 comes out there's very little reason I have for owning two HD consoles for gaming.

I would not have got this gooseberry fool anyway, going multiplatform is another reason, remember if it were not for PlayStation there would not have even been a Tekken on home consoles.

It's good news for those who like Tekken and already have a 360 but Tekken isn't as important as it was a few years ago. Another once exclusive series going Multiplatform makes me wonder if maybe Dyack and co. are right with regards to a one console future. The list of exclusives keeps on getting shorter all the time so it gets harder and harder to justify owning both a 360 and PS3.

The arcade system was based on PS, but if it wasn't for PS, the game woulda been ported to Saturn instead along with Ridge Racer and Time Crisis.

While I normally disapprove of 3rd party exclusivity, I'm not sure more people playing Tekken is a good thing.

The PS3 fanboys that care can take solice in the fact that the 360 version will be gimped, I suppose.

I love the meltdowns. All games should become multiplatform so that I can sit and laugh at fanboys.
