The older games had amazing soundtracks, the newer ones are pretty much none existent

I remember playing through one of the female character's campaigns in Tekken 2 just so I could desperately try and fit in a wank for the ending video that showed her naked silhouette in the shower. Think I must have been about 11 years old :lol:

Namco's PS1 games in general had some superb soundtracks, Tekken 2, Soul Blade and Ridge Racer Type 4 being prime examples - Sega's 16-bit era in-house stuff is equally consistent with great soundtracks.

Hats of to Tecmo for basically focusing their entire Dead or Alive franchise around this fact. I mean, you really do have to admire the front they showed.

The only ending from Tekken I know is the one with the guy dropping the other guy off the cliff.

I remember so many of these. I must have completed the campaigns with each character.

Sonic CD had an incredible soundtrack, yet when the game was re-released on Gamecube as part of the Sonic Gems Collection package, it was completely different (and so ruined the whole experience).
