Please let it have absolutely nothing to do with the Bendis comics whatsoever. They are absolute shite.

Hopefully it's good...

But it's
A) Telltale
B) Marvel

Where has this view come from? The Walking Dead is absolutely brilliant.

The engine.

Aye, the engine. Going by what I've read, even the "new" "engine" (Batman being the first game to use it) is meant to be gash.

Maybe I'll actually bother to watch the film, instead of playing this.

I really liked The Wolf Among Us. I'll probably play this one.

As a fan of the current Telltale Batman game and a huge Guardians fan I am fully on board this.

Everyone was raving about Telltale a few years back and the way in which they'd revived adventure games, seems to be a bit of revisionism on them in some corners lately.

Bugs have always been inherent in their games, I encountered no end of them in the original Walking Dead game (where I lost two save games on PS3, one at the end of Chapter 4) and those performance issues do stop them from really hitting the heights, but nevertheless I think they're damn enjoyable games and I'd much rather see some of these series' appear as a Telltale adventure game than yet another generic third person cover shooter/open world collectathon.

I love Guardians and think this is a great fit, can't wait.

I don't like Telltale simply because they've taken a genre of games which I enjoy and can usually play without my disability being an issue and made it more action oriented to the point where I can no longer play them.

TWD for example has terrible accessibility for disabled gamers, there's no remappable controls and no way to play using an onscreen keyboard.

So expect this will be another Telltale game that ends up just being me talking about it.

I really liked Episode 1 of this - little short, but set itself up nicely.

I knew I was going to like it from the titles though

Similar to Batman it's not in any specific continuity - it just borrows heavily from comics and films to present familiar elements in their own way. (Moreso the films, but it's still distinct from them).

On PS4 I also found it technically very strong. Massive multipart (QTE) combats with many combators flowed smoothly and easily - much more so than Batmans!

I think I might struggle to keep everyone on side though

Killing Thanos early was surprise. No way he stays dead though!

Generally friendly, quipping but making sure team get credit for things too
Agreed Drax got his vengence
Told Rocket to back off
Promised Mum I'd do better
Gave Thanos to Nova Corp
Didn't let the fanboy hold my gun
Took Gamora to the Kree Ship

I had no idea it was out yet! Still got a whole horde of Telltale games to blitz through, though (Borderlands/Walking Dead S2 and the Wolf Among Us...) :dread: Maybe it's one to save for the sales...

Both of those are tied to Telltale's best. And you've parked them!?!??!?

You're the worst.

Tbh if you're interesting in GOTG, play Borderlands. It's similar in terms of "idiots in spcae doing good, bad and inbetween things"

They haven't advertised this at all. Did it come out today?

An absolutely wonderful first episode. And the first time since the original Walking Dead where I'm genuinely really excited for the next episode. No dull moments, enjoyed every minute of it.

I made all the same choices as Hexx but the global results at the end showed a pretty strong sway in the same direction.

It's the front page (well one of them) on the PS4 store

This is getting really mixed reviews, so I'm not really sure what to think.

The games they made prior to the walking dead were good, but then they started doing film/tv tie ins and their studio jumped the shark too.
