The Walking Dead Season 1 made me cry like an eejit.

Season 1 and 2 are among the best game experiences I've ever had.

Heard this over the weekend and it really has come as some shocking news, as I thought the company was doing fine.
I wonder whether anybody will decide to buy the rights to Telltale games?

Dibs on THQ Nordic.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Microsoft pick them up. They're in studio purchasing mode, not to mention already invested with Minecraft Story Mode. It makes a lot of sense.

If you could keep the same roster of titles and IP then I'd say they'd be worth buying. Whoever bought them would have to update the engine and do some better marketing.

I do like the Walking Dead Season 1 and I personally think it's toss up between that and Tales from the Borderlands for their most enjoyable game but I would not use that as one of the reasons for placing it above the others at all.

Kenny ?!?!?

That's where you draw your line in the sand? Quite possibly the worst, most horrible character in video game history?

Egotistical and inflexible as hell, and if you don't kowtow to his every (invariably stupid and probably deadly)
idea he throws an incredible aggressive, but somehow petulantly whiney, strop.

"Yeah I know you saved the lives of my family many times over from my mistakes, and then you helped and supported me through the death of my son - but what have you done for me in the last 10 minutes to help with my suicidal plan you disloyal son of bitch?"

Kenny ?!?!?

Chapter release concept would also run well with Gamepass.

I'm guessing the Kenny haters haven't played Season 2 of TWD.

S2 spoiler: The first thing I did when I saw Kenny was run up to him and hug him

S2 ending spoiler: I shot him at the end when I really didn't want to and then he thanked me and told me it was okay and I was genuinely grieving

Kenny just wanted to look after his family and in another life him and Lee go round each other's houses for barbeques and everything is nice and good and right

I shot Kenny sure but then I told the girl to leave and never come back so I got the ending with Clem and the baby on their own walking through a field

I saved Kenny from himself. He's with his family now. He wanted to go. ;-;

He gets even worse and then
admits you were right to shoot him after he tries to kill a baby?

I've played it and I'm fairly sure I'm remembering it right.

Edit - Oh no. He just get's loads of people indirectly killed throughout and then flips trying to directly kill people. My bad.

I lied Kenny, yeah he was stubborn and could get aggressive at certain times, but all he was trying to do in the first season was do well ny his famliy. In season 2 I:

Shot him, I regretted doing it, but then after shootiong him finding out that Jane was, in fact, an utter utter banana split, yes Kenny lost it with her because he spent all his time trying to make sure the baby was safe and she just left it to die... Even though she didn't she strawberry floating lied and caused all that gooseberry fool at the end to prove a point that Kenny would lose it after the death of a baby. Well done, Jane. banana split!
