Even if they're going to pay some former employees to complete the game the point remains that they are prioritising the completion of the game over giving their employees their legally required severance pay.
Of course I do. However at the moment there is no contradiction, because we don't know what the arrangement is. It is entirely possible (perhaps even probable) that another developer will be taking over from the wording of that tweet MHTL posted, and Telltale will have nothing to do with the finished product beyond the work they've already done on it. It may be that another company somewhere has spotted an opportunity for easy money and has offered to take over development of TWD.
My point is simply that shouting* "strawberry float Telltale this" and "strawberry float their lack of severance pay that," might be a little premature before we know what the scenario is. Telltale might not have much of a say in whatever discussions are ongoing at the moment.
If it turns out that you're right and they are prioritising something other than their workers' rights I'll happily join the chorus, but until then I'll wait and see what comes out of this.
*I say shouting, I obviously mean typing. Unless you are literally shouting every post you make at your computer in which case...videos, please.
