Bit of a shame to see he went out like that to be honest, but there's no shame in losing to the Fed.

This period in his career has been fantastically fruitful, at a point where he could have 'faded' into a chasing pack position, producing some wonderful tennis that could see him one day become the best in the world.

Well played Murray, a great effort.

Henman wasn't a bad player, he just never made it.

In a way I'm glad, I'm tired as well. Seems like with Federer he'll sometimes lose a few points he shouldn't have/allow the opponent to win them, then becomes a bit annoyed and decides to win the next game without the other guy standing a chance.

You just don't beat players playing like that, pure and simple.

Unlucky Murray. He will win the US Open though. And his overall tournament performance can give him a lot of confidence for the future.

Likewise Federer, had a bad year by his own standards ( I mean only one major out of 4!) but this could be the shot in the arm that sees him bounce back for next year's grand slams

This presentation is so weird.

"You win this much money!"

"And a Lexus! Here to present it to you is somebody from Lexus!"

How American.

This really is weird. Why does the winner only get $500,000 more than a guy he completely owned? The presenter guy is hilarious. SUCH an American. At least don't make it obvious you can't remember what to say and have the strawberry floating huge cards out in front. I bet Fedbot is delighted with his Lexus though. Wimbledon is so much better.

It's extremely glitzy, isn't it?
