Just been to see it today. It's a bit gooseberry fool, isn't it? The action was naff, the humour wasn't funny, the characters weren't like able, the effects were rubbish and it made me want to fall asleep more than once.

Only just. Besides me and two pensioners there was a drunk guy in the cinema who demanded everyone stay for the post-credits scene.

You do and you can.

Do it for Arnie.

OK. It's a reasonably solid action film which suffers greatly for having the Terminator name attached to it. Arnie'so the best thing about it by a distance, and I desperately hope they don't bring the franchise killer back for any sequels. Why he is being situated as the lynch pin of so many 80s franchise revivals is beyond me.

Of mild note; the only main cast member from America is JK Simmons, who was woefully underused.

Had such low expectations that I actually thought it was ok. Despite gaping plotholes galore.

So much better than the shitheap that was Salvation.

2>1>Salvation>=Genesys>3 for me.
Really can't decide between this and Salvation to be honest.

3 is easily the worst of the entire franchise by far though.

T1 and T2 are probably interchangeable depending on which I've watched most recently though.

3 is like a Sci-Fi channel parody film, so so bad. At least Salvation tried something different.

I'm stuck in the middle with this :(

One one side: it's a dumb summer blockbuster (if you can switch your brain off).

On the other:

Ignore James Cameron, he's just as corrupt as Sepp Blatter. To him it may be the true successor to his films but it's still average film that fails to reach the heights of the first two.
