Spoiler culture these days. People just can't wait for anything, look at how many people have waited a year for game of thrones to return but can't wait a week for another episode so are watching subpar leaked rips

Seems to be throwing all the gooseberry fool at the wall in the hope something that will entice people in sticks.
Forget enticing people with a story they might like, give them the whole story in the trailer and hope they will pay to see the bird from game of thrones acting along side doctor who and grandpa Simpson.

Can you imagine if terminator 2 had given away that Arnie was a protector this time? That was an unepected turn the first time you saw it

Didn't they spoil Salvation's twist in the trailer too? Seems to be a thing with this franchise.

I guess that was probably more the case, just be around a friend's house and be presented with a terminator 2 video, a film which until that moment I didn't even kno existed

I remember thinking the t1000 was a human protector like Reese just becuase he was skinny

Yeah, I saw T2 at the cinema when it came out and none of us had any idea that Arnie was the protector this time. The whole audience was in shock.

So whatever spolier trailers were around at the time either were pulled or very limited in their advertising.

Lucien, be aware of potential spoilers below.

The twist isn't that John Connor is evil as that is too obvious, the twist is actually that this is going to be a gooseberry fool film that nobody pays money to watch. Except Chalkitdown the mad bastard.

Any Arnie film is alright by me.

Still going to watch it, despite being let down by that shitty sabotage film.

I didnt think Terminator franchise could get any worse after the gooseberry fool subway of T3/Salvation...i was so wrong.

Despite how batshit it looks, this at least looks more interesting and entertaining than either of those 2. I won't mind all the canon changes and muddled-beyond-belief time travel stuff as long as it's a halfway enjoyable flick.

Sabotage was alright. I mean it was no 6th Day, but I enjoyed it.

The zombie one, that's coming out soon, looks good.

Watching them wheel out a decrepit 70 year old Arnie so that kids can cheer when he slurs his way through every iconic catchphrase of T1 & T2, just so people can remember that this once was a franchise worth giving a solitary gooseberry fool about, is about as far from "enjoyable flick" as you can get. Its bordering on abuse of the elderly. Genysis will be a 2 and a half hour gooseberry fool sandwich of Syfy level CGI and writing that would be an insult to Fanfiction.net, and most definitely is not going to make for an enjoyable flick. Unless youre a masochist, or youre arnies ex-wife and like seeing him embarrass himself.

What bothers me about this (apart from everything) is that when he smiles the metal make-up that's supposed to be his skull moves with the skin :x

That and the muscle would be torn.
Also, why would a sophisticated cyborg not be able to do something as simple as smile? For the strawberry floating Lolz that's why :fp:

One small thing which this looks to be doing right is arnie not wearing sunglasses for once. Always pissed me off that the other sequels suggested he wore them out of vanity when the first film clearly showed he wore them to hide his missing eye and blend in.
