Tried to read, but a pop up trying to give me an Apple watch made me bounce right out the door.

I know, they are terrible. Even our sentient Twitter account knows it.

Anyway, here's the stupidest part of the film Reese and Connor travel forward in time to stop Skynet but travel to the night before Skynet goes online. They had 30 years to stop Skynet, and they give themselves less than a day.

Could you make it so, you know I win the apple watch?

I'm actually slightly disappointed, for a moment I thought it would be decent.

I would imagine that this story is more entertaining than the new movie.

I just saw this. My advice is don't make the same mistake as me. This isn't a joke. It is really bad. Clear?

I don't want to read those for spoilers, but I'll come back in six months and read them after I've watched a bluray rip

I enjoyed it more than Jurassic World. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Arnie had some great bits in it. I just tuned out whenever they talked about the timey wimey stuff. That gooseberry fool made no sense.

I think this is an abomination too. I think I even appreciate Salvation more than Genisys, because it least it tried to move the story forward without using a gimped version of Star Trek's time-travel reset button

Even though Salvation is not a good movie, I respect it for trying. It got at least 2 things right; The guy from Star Trek playing Kyle Reese was great and the movie looked fantastic, the skeletal Terminators especially, it was the first time they genuinely looked and felt threatening since the original.

Christian Bale was so horribly miscast in that movie, goddamn. :dread: He spends the whole movie strawberry floating whispering his lines.

Thankfully in the US Jurassic World and Inside Out have continued to dominate, leaving Terminator with just $28.7 million over the three day July 4th weekend, and $44.2 million over five days. Hopefully it's underperformed elsewhere too

No, I'd just rather that trilogy didn't get made and it failing is the likeliest way of that happening. Plus Jurassic World and (by all accounts) Inside Out are better movies
