Quality dropped when it went all Top Gear, but it was great before that. Would love to have it back every week since Friday night TV is really poor these days.

I remember the Reef version of "it's your letters" but didn't remember the other bands/singers doing it as well.

When Evans suggested Grimmy hosting a new TFI I turned to the missus and said that would be an utter disaster.

I thought it was a pretty good show aside from the Top Gear bit at the end. I could see it working in a Friday Night 9-10pm slot, particularly as there is strawberry float all else on.

I don't understand the hatred people have for Nick Grimshaw. Is it just fashionable to dislike him? He seems a decent bloke.

He's just one of those annoying people who seems to hang around celebrities all the time and has no real talent himself, seems to just go along with whatever is trendy or hip. He's probably the main reason why the Radio 1 breakfast show has the lowest amount of listeners in over a decade.

His voice makes my skin crawl.

Exactly this, he is seen as "cool" but he is just an irritating plank.

I don't have a strong opinion on him either way, I just think bringing back TFI with Grimshaw would be a waste of time. If Channel 4 want to give him a show then make it something new and give us old timers a TFI show with Chris Evans. If Chris doesn't want to do it then let it die.

Very much enjoyed the show although they did drag the Lewis Hamilton bit out, would be nice to see a come back.

Pretty much this. He's like the celebrity "rent a friend". Not actually sure what he is good at. He'd be a terrible host.

I remember hearing Jonathan Ross tell a story on his radio 2 show or maybe it was on TV about Nick Grimshaw turning up uninvited to Jonathan Ross' halloween party and not talking to anyone.

Grimshaw has just been announced as a judge on X Factor. Hopefully that keeps him busy enough to stay the strawberry float away from TFI.
