I've got Halo Wars 2 (Ultimate Edition) pre-ordered for €40 but I'll almost certainly cancel it because I'd rather not deal with the Windows 10 Store :dread: Other than that, there's nothing that catches my eye this week.

I'm looking forward to the new "housing" update arriving for Elder Scrolls Online on 21 February :toot: .

I do wonder how those W10 store exclusives are selling...is it really worth the exclusivity when they'd likely be far more successful on Steam?

I picked up Sniper Elite 4 today (PS4). I was a fan of the last game in the series and I enjoy the very relaxed at-your-own-pace nature of the gameplay. I don't see any major upgrade, visually, from SE3 but the new Italian setting is easy on the eye and the game is, so far, delivering what I hoped from it. Feels more like a part-two of SE3 than a new game (it could definitely use a little more optimisation and there's no extra options for PS4 Pro users), but I'm okay with that.

Still miffed Rebellion won't use swastikas - it's just so jarring and conspicuous. It's game about murdering Nazis, ffs.

Picked up the obligatory 'kill Hitler' DLC mission, but I've resisted the temptation to spend almost £25 on the Season Pass.

Cal, don't worry dude, there are a few performance boosts on the Pro:

...Sniper Elite 4 developer Rebellion has announced its upcoming action game will support PlayStation 4 Pro to deliver an "enhanced frame rate, improved lighting, and faster loading times."

In addition to these, the game will feature increased draw distance, increase geometry level of detail, improved shadows, and increased image quality on reflections...

I'd thought that the Season Pass was gonna be £25 based on the Store pre-order pricing, but it's now marked up at £29 :o .
