It's out today in the PlayStation Store... for £54.99.
Fifty-five quid .
.
I can't fathom the logic of pricing digital releases so high, it's £30 on Steam so why the hell is it £55 on PSN other than sheer greed?
Digital future my arse.
I love owning games digitally but it is madness that digital console games cost so much more than physical console games. Until they sort that out, the digital only future looks horrendous.
It's not so bad if you're willing to wait a few weeks. Most games will drop to sub £30 in a sale not long after release.
If I am buying digitally I always wait for either a great sale or for the game to show up on PS+/GwG. I don't have time to play most of the games I already own, I am not spending £40-£60 on more to add to the pile!
Still, they really need to take a good look at their pricing structure. How can they justify the digital price of a game compared to the physical price? The savings on manufacturing alone should mean it is cheaper!
