\o. I'd thought you may go for it, Cal!
Hmmn... the first reviews are out and they're not exactly full of high praise. There is a concern about the decision to go for an open-world approach and all of the reviewers touch upon technical issues. Hopefully the tech aspects can be updated in time. I'm still hopeful that, as with Sniper Elite, the gameplay will be fun.
Played the 2nd game, finished the first mission and that was it I couldn't force myself to play any more. Can't speak for 4 but Sniper Elite was the better sniper game.
MK8 and Puyo Puyo Tetris on Switch for me this week, not really used it since I finished Zelda and both games are ideal for quick play sessions so I'm looking forward to both. Bit frustrating that Puyo Puyo is so much cheaper on PS4 but the portability is worth the extra price I guess.
Forgot that Wilson's Heart was out on the Oculus store this week too so might have to pick that up as well as the Switch games, it looks absolutely fantastic. For those not familiar it's a puzzle based game with survival horror elements. It's set in a mental asylum so probably draws some comparisons to something like Outlast but you can fight back in this and there's a greater focus on story telling, they're clearly trying to evoke the atmosphere of old black & white horror movies and it looks graphically really impressive. It's also got an excellent voice cast (incl. Rosario Dawson, Alfred Molina, Michael B. Jordan and Peter Weller). Getting some excellent reviews across the board and could be the closest thing we've had so far to a triple A VR game, shame it's an Oculus exclusive as it probably won't get the attention it might if it was on Steam, for example. They really need to open up the store to Vive users officially as the exclusivity isn't doing much for Oculus sales anyway.

This one totally snuck past me... I hadn't realised that it had been developed by Giant Sparrow, the makers of "The Unfinished Swan" which I hugely enjoyed. And now Push Square have awarded it a 10! Hmmn, I'll hold off for now but this is one that I want to pick up in the future.

That would be why then! Thanks - didn't know that at all.
Getting Puyo Tetris and Little Nightmares on PS4. Had a free month of Amazon Prime and it made both quite cheap with the £2 discount for pre-orders. I've read there will never be a digital EU (or US) version of Puyo Puyo Tetris, and that physical copies won't be abundant, so might be worth grabbing a PS4 copy fairly sharpish. Think I read it on Gaf or Eurogamer. Can't remember.
