Long-winded faffing about with my own Wii, my own games and a XHDD.

And no, I've not touched my CPU.

Not exactly a GTA fan but I disagree with this, the only thing sleeping dogs does better is the combat system. I enjoyed it but could be much improved in the driving and shooting mechanics department....they just didn't feel right. Story was pretty good, but not fantastic... But to be honest, GTA didn't have a great story. What it did have was hilarious dialogue though, I'd play through it again for the cut scenes. Anyone looking for the best of both worlds should play saints row 4.

I'm guessing you can run games from disc though, I intend to replay Paper Mario using Dolphin (it's one of a few GC games I think I can still manage to play) but haven't got round to it yet.

I know that most DVD drives can read the tiny GC discs.

Nope, only PS2 games can do that since they were DVD-ROMs. Wii games are Nintendo's own tech so you have to use isos.

Took some of your settings idea and man Mario Kart Wii looks fantastic on emu. Will be nicely for occasional Versus mode along time trials

Man I really need to play Twilight Princess again.

Oh and use Flickr, screens are compressed horribly with imgur.

May as well post these while I'm here. I took a few snaps of SSBB trophies and then cut away the background (a lot easier than it sounds) so it's just the render. They look pretty cool.

Oh and Flickr doesn't seem to support transparency for some reason before you call me a hypocrite :P

It is a great game and it looks wonderful on Dolphin. There's a bit of slowdown on Hyrule Field but it's nothing drastic. I have to admit, playing it so soon after Skyward Sword led to me getting bored and not finishing it but, as I said, it's a great game.

I was going to use Flickr but it wanted me to make a Yahoo account so I used imgur instead. I'll make a Flickr account later today.

Germany hate my guts in this game of Civ 5 and I like to think that it's this line of defence that has so far deterred them from attempting any kind of invasion.

Was well chuffed with that shot to the heart. The guy was just climbing out of the truck and there was a lot of wind at a long distance. I'd like to say it was all skill but there was a little luck involved. :P
