Not trolling. Seems like you genuinely do buzz off of anything gritty Russia related.

because of that stupid visor at night, while a cheesy jazz tune plays in the background. The rest was just standard Halo action set pieces with the cast of Firefly.

Finally, someone else who thinks the VISR was utter tosh

Metro 2033 has shitloads of atmosphere.

From what I can see, Metro 2033 was the product of "how can we put stalker on console?". The answer was you couldn't. So they made it an entirely linear affair based on a book and the end result was strawberry floating fantastic.

I honestly can't see where Agent 47 gets his view that Metro 2033 was gooseberry fool, but it's a single player linear affair and it oozes atmosphere everywhere you go. The graphics are amazing on PC. I've yet to complete it, but I'll get some screenshots as I start a new game tonight.

Also ODST was fantastic, loved the visr, but more atmospheric than Metro 2033? You need to stop sitting ten miles away from a tv screen with a game that gives a real shitty fov. The difference between ODST and Metro 2033 is that one is given fine detail everywhere in the single player crafted game, whereas the other is designed to be played on a TV with a gooseberry fool FOV and thus is entirely coloured in with crayons.

The opening of Metro 2033 is strawberry floating gorgeous, the sounds of the guns are gritty. There's a real atmosphere in Metro 2033 and it isn't designed to be played from ten metres away on a console with a shitty fov. I'm playing it on PC and it's just wow.

Here's some crysis screenshots:

See those tiny specs far away? They all got raped. The freedom in this game is fantastic. Let off a few shots unsilenced to get their attention and flanked them on my right as they tried climbing up the path to my vantage point, and then finished off the gunner in the car with a silenced pistol.

Unfortunately I was taking screenshots manually and the firefights are really tense on delta difficulty so I've not got firefight pics, but I'll set it up for some automatic screenshots.

Hey Brer you cuntface, message me some good crysis mods to use :D Cheers.

You say this in a thread in which there is a man who went to Chernobyl for a holiday as though it's news.

Right I think it's time I posted this.

Steam is currently beta testing "Steam Screenshots" and I've been using it and it's really, really good.

You assign a button (default F12) and then any game running with the steam overlay can have screenshots captures and automatically uploaded using the button. The game waits till you close the game to sync your shots since it could cause lag, but if you want to share one immediately you can use the steam overlay to publish a screenshot from within the game.

Once you've got your screenshots you can sort through them on steam community, add captions, publish them so your friends can see them and comment on them, and retrieve the full size versions. Each steam user has 1GB of storage for screenshots, free of charge.

If you think you'd be interested in this you can sign up from within your steam client. Here's how:

Choose steam>settings (steam>preferences on mac) and there's a section in the first tab labelled "beta participation" choose to opt in to the beta there, restart steam and you're in!

Here's a screenshot for the bewildered:

:fp: at the fact that the guns in Crysis 2 take up a third of the screen real estate. Hopefully the FOV can be sorted out in the PC version.

 I was going to post earlier about the FOV on Crysis 2 but just couldn't believe my eyes, I thought I was going crazy in the face of "OMG LEAVE CRYSIS 2 ALONE! It's not consolised or codified waaaahh waaahhh", but glad to know I'm not the only one seeing the difference in FOV.

Not consolised my arse

What? Are you kidding me?

Borderlands is unplayable on the PC for me with that shitty FOV. I had to change the FOV myself to make it playable. It's like playing a game with a magnifying glass stuck in front of your face. Bioshock 2 looks horrendous with that awful FOV too.

You know what, I'm gunna start getting screenshots of Borderlands with its shitty fov and other games that do it.

Just noticed that the screenshots you take for each game act as their background in Steam when you click on them in the library. That's pretty cool.

Only me that thinks people making an issue out of the difference between the FoV in Crysis 1 and 2 are nuts then?

I honestly don't understand the problem you have with it.

You guys posted like it was laughably bad, but the reality is that its just a bit different.

I wish you could put 47's clothes on him, so when he wakes up the guards kill him.

Second two are a bit smaller as I was playing on the telly in 720p rather than my laptop's native 1366x736. The city in the top right at night.
