Updating OP with the list, going to PM Buffalo about getting this stickifed. There's no deadline, so if you want to join - feel free to post your budget. I'll add you once I get back home on 2nd January.

I'll play it safe and go for £2000 budget again this year.

I'll take part. I'll have to get back to you about what budget I'll be setting for myself, though, as my previous budget clearly wasn't practical.

Edit: Trying to think what budget might be realistic. I won't be buying any new hardware next year and have plenty of games to last me right until the autumn, however there's a fair few big new releases I'm excited about so I'll likely buy those...oh I don't know, I'll say £750 for now but I may change this amount in the first week, if that's okay.

I'm going to halve my budget this time, and stuck to it. Can't see myself buying any new consoles that might be released in 2012 and there are only two or three games I might be interested in on release.

Put me down for £200.

Because my budget went so well last time (or not), I'm reducing my budget to £2000, however with the proviso that it won't include hardware purchases and it won't include games I buy with Birthday or Christmas money.

I'll be buying games for all systems out there.

Its really tricky to get it down to that kind of spend when you want all the good games.

I love it when everytime HSH talks about his spendage, everyone finds it baffling when I post same thing and nobody really raised their eyebrows about it

But yes, like HSH I tend to spend alot on software.

I'll do this again but will put my total up to £300.

Ideally I'd like to stay under £200 but with the number of games coming out, along with the ones I haven't bought from this year, it might not happen.

Not that I want to tell a guy in how to spend his readies, but you could always hang back a couple of weeks after a game's come out, H. Price drops and all that.

I'll go for £500, including Hardware. I've got so many games already I want to be more sensible with my purchases this year I think.

Put me down for £1000.

My budget has gone up due to potential hardware purchases this year (Wii U...maybe, if it actually comes out this year). I really didn't plan ahead very well last year and didn't take the 3DS' release into account.

My budget does not include:

- Purchases using Birthday/Christmas money
- Hardware upgrades for my PC

Code: Select all

PJ = £1000 (Spent £0) Balance = £1000
