Terrible idea. Companies will just adjust holiday entitlement to take accouht.

Playing to nationalism will also mean they're all clumped in about 3 months.

4 bank holidays! It's a desperate plea "vote of us please! look how nice we are". 1 might have seemed like a considered. 4 looks like a desperate gamble to appeal.

They're not really extra holidays though. It's just 4 days where you'll be forced to use your annual leave rather than being able to take it whenever you want.

An analysis by Nomura indicates the Lib Dems would need to poll around 21% before a Tory majority is threatened. I haven't read the report itself, but the summary makes it seem like they seem to have discounted the possibility of Labour recovering entirely, which is, err, interesting.

-Comes across as relatively spineless
-Has simply allowed the Tories to get away with doing whatever they want
-The majority of this message board could destroy him in a political debate
-Clueless about which topics will win or lose him votes

Like why is he not shouting daily about everything May has cocked up or backtracked on to paint her as massively untrustworthy to those that are considering voting for her? It is the footballing equivalent of a tap-in from two yards out and yet he is blasting his shot over the bar, out the bloody stadium and judging by the amount of egg that regularly ends up on his face, the ball probably clatters into his car and damages his wing mirror before landing.

He actually is but it is not being reported. I follow him on twitter and Facebook and he is constantly making speeches on these issues, but it is rarely ever reported by the mainstream media. However, if he talks about trident or anything remotely accepting Brexit he usually gets close to front page/headline attention.

I think what others have said about Corbyn is undoubtedly true to an extent but it's hard to shake the feeling that the media are doing a great job of portraying him as more out of touch than he actually is.
