I know I'm one to talk...but what the feck are you trying to say?

Forget all the other gooseberry fool people are spouting, 4 extra public holidays are on offer.

And?

Terrible idea. Companies will just adjust holiday entitlement to take accouht.

Playing to nationalism will also mean they're all clumped in about 3 months.

4 bank holidays! It's a desperate plea "vote of us please! look how nice we are". 1 might have seemed like a considered. 4 looks like a desperate gamble to appeal.

They're not really extra holidays though. It's just 4 days where you'll be forced to use your annual leave rather than being able to take it whenever you want.

I think DH is taking the piss Hexx.

Why do people hate Dianne Abbot so much by the way? I mean, she's far from great (or even good) but I don't understand the level of vitriol that's always poured on her.

An analysis by Nomura indicates the Lib Dems would need to poll around 21% before a Tory majority is threatened. I haven't read the report itself, but the summary makes it seem like they seem to have discounted the possibility of Labour recovering entirely, which is, err, interesting.

Like why is he not shouting daily about everything May has cocked up or backtracked on to paint her as massively untrustworthy to those that are considering voting for her? It is the footballing equivalent of a tap-in from two yards out and yet he is blasting his shot over the bar, out the bloody stadium and judging by the amount of egg that regularly ends up on his face, the ball probably clatters into his car and damages his wing mirror before landing.

He actually is but it is not being reported. I follow him on twitter and Facebook and he is constantly making speeches on these issues, but it is rarely ever reported by the mainstream media. However, if he talks about trident or anything remotely accepting Brexit he usually gets close to front page/headline attention.

Nothing will ever top this:

Corbyn has also failed to get a handle on anti-semitism, so to some quarters Labour looks like a racist party.

I love the reaction from Portillo. He can't believe what he's just heard.

Do you have to pass any tests to become an MP? Seems like any old melter can run for office.

I think what others have said about Corbyn is undoubtedly true to an extent but it's hard to shake the feeling that the media are doing a great job of portraying him as more out of touch than he actually is.

Corbyn is out there campaigning and has been announcing sensible policies. May seems to have gone into hiding already!

It is its best tactic, if it shows its face or says anything people will realise what a banana split it is and not vote for it.

But shes such a great leader! Thats why shes nowhere to be seen and refusing to be held to account on anything she does!

Goddamnit, I hate talking basic common sense and it sound like some political diatribe...

And yet she is so much more of one than Corbyn.

Life just isn't fair is it.

To be fair, that seems a bit damned-if-she-does, damned-if-she-doesn't.
