Thoroughly depressing.

Doesn't include 2015 results. I'm in a 3 way marginal, but it says my seat is ultra safe because of the out of date 2010 result. Rubbish!

Probably be lesson planning so, yup. Teachers aren't allowed sleep.

I'll stay up until it all gets too depressing, or I run out of sweets.

I'll have a stiff drink after the exit poll then go to sleep.

I have to admit, I gave a chuckle at the Sun front page.

The Mail meanwhile are literally portraying May as a saviour,

I hate the British election. It always seems exciting to stay up initially but there's no point unless you want to stay up until 5am. How come other counties manage to get their results almost instantly? Why are we so far behind?

I'm not watching the results come in this time, I learned my lesson with Brexit. Will check the exit poll and then I'll do something else. The result seems obvious.

Well polls close at 10pm and it takes a few hours to count and verify the results. I don't see how you could do it much quicker without switching to some form of electronic voting system but that would bring in a whole load of other problems.

Recent elections haven't always gone the way they were predicted. Even Brexit was looking like a strong victory for 'remain' until the early hours of the morning.

That's my whole point that's what other countries appear to do, the US and France for example. We knew how had won the French election as soon as the polls closed.
