Yeah it tells me it's a safe lib dem seat with no previous change but actually conservatives took it in a bi-election a few years go. So completely wrong, then. It is a swing state for con/lib.

Not good information really, that might make some people think wrong, although they'd have to be pretty out of touch to not even know what party their current MP is.

A thoroughly depressing campaign overall. Mercifully it's only been 8 weeks, although it's sure as hell felt like longer. Two plus points are that we certainly can't complain about the parties all being the same this time around, and additionally we finally seem to have a decent opposition leader who has found his voice in recent weeks and actually garnered some support. I've been quite impressed with Corbyn.

As is often the case there are policies from each of Lib/Lab/Con that I agree with, but none of them are anywhere near convincing enough. As per usual it just feels like deciding who will do the less shitty job. Still undecided as to who to vote for, or whether to spoil the ballot. Would've stayed up to watch the results, but got an early start on Friday and a busy day, so will have to give it a miss. Waking up on Friday morning to the result is going to be fun. :dread:
